How long have you been in the real estate industry?

I have been in the industry for 24 years! Time flies when you are having fun and working hard.

What initially drew you to the real estate industry?

I was 23, a single mom in college, and hungry for an opportunity. I was drawn to the fact that I was in control of my destiny. I am truly the only person that holds me back. The sky’s the limit in our industry and I love that.

What has been your biggest accomplishment in your career?

Staying consistent, I have closed over 50+ transactions per year since 2018. The national average for Realtors is 6. I can also say that many of my clients have become some of my closest friends. That is my biggest accomplishment.

What is a trend that you are keeping your eye on right now in the industry?

Personally, what drives you in this industry?

I enjoy the process from the first meeting to the long term relationships that I have made. It drives me every day that I wake up and don’t know what opportunity the next phone call can bring.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about thriving. Thriving in my well-being, my relationships, and my business. Sometimes I wonder if I am too passionate about life!

What are your hobbies/interests outside of the office?

I make time every day to enjoy the activities that the mountains provide. In the summer, I spend most mornings horseback riding and in the early evenings, I get a hike or trail run in. In the winter, I love to Nordic ski at Snow Mountain Ranch. I love the peacefulness and the exercise. I strive to get the most out of every day and enjoy where I live.

What’s your favorite part about living and working in Colorado?

It’s a lifestyle like no other. People that I get to do business with are coming here for the outdoor lifestyle. I love meeting people when they have just finished a day of skiing and they are so excited about the idea of being here. Selling property in the mountains means I can show a property in my jeans and boots and it is 100% acceptable.

What community do you live in? What do you like about it?

I live in Grand County, Colorado. I sell in the Winter Park, Fraser,
Granby, and Grand Lake areas. I love where I live so much that I hardly ever leave for vacation! We are located close enough to Denver that I don’t often give a second thought about an afternoon drive to the city. Grand County offers activities that I love in every season. When the snow melts, I can hardly wait to get the winter hair off my horses and spend some time in the saddle.
