Between now and the first chair of winter, Granby Ranch's most dependable dinner table sits down the hill at 62927 US Highway 40. Two independently run spots now share the Inn at SilverCreek: Creekside Tavern, a sports bar on the main floor, and Lost & Found, a pizza and sandwich kitchen inside the Inn. Their schedules fit together. One covers the early part of the week and the other joins it from Thursday on. That gives the neighborhood a posted dinner option every night through October and November, while the resort's own venues sit between summer and ski season.
Granby Ranch plans to open for winter on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, weather permitting. That leaves about seven weeks in which the building next door does most of the work.
The Inn has had a food-and-drink side for a long time. Back in 2008, Sky-Hi News reported that the Inn already had a bar, restaurant and conference center. At the time, the homeowners association that owned the Inn brought in Alderwood Colorado LLC, and the R&R bar and restaurant reopened. Today the food comes from two separate businesses, each with its own owners and hours.
Here is how their posted weekly hours line up:
| Day | Creekside Tavern | Lost & Found |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 3 to 10 p.m. | Closed |
| Tuesday | 3 to 10 p.m. | Closed |
| Wednesday | 3 to 10 p.m. | Closed |
| Thursday | 3 to 10 p.m. | 4 to 9 p.m. |
| Friday | 3 to 11 p.m. | 4 to 9 p.m. |
| Saturday | 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. | 4 to 9 p.m. |
| Sunday | 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., or when the games end | 4 to 9 p.m. |
Creekside's hours don't match everywhere they're posted. Its own contact page lists 10 a.m. openings on both weekend days. Destination Granby describes regular afternoon openings, with earlier starts on football weekends. Call ahead before planning a Saturday morning around it.
Early in the week, Creekside Tavern is the only one of the two that's open. Husband-and-wife team Steve Harris and Laura High run it. Sky-Hi News called it the newest sports bar in Grand County in its July 19, 2026, roundup of food businesses that opened in the past year. The roundup describes seven large TVs, an elevated bar and a patio.
The menu is built for sitting through a whole game. Creekside lists:
The Sky-Hi roundup also mentions wraps and pressed sandwiches. Creekside's homepage says it opens early on weekends for football and other big games. October is right in the middle of football season, which is probably why the Sunday closing time reads "or when the games end."
A 3 p.m. weekday opening is also earlier than anything else on this list. On a Tuesday in late October, with the golf season over and the lifts still idle, it's the closest place to the ranch with a posted kitchen open that afternoon.
From Thursday on, the building offers two very different evenings. In a January 2026 story, Sky-Hi News reported that Lost & Found opened on Sept. 10 and was heading into its first winter season. It's the first business David Lutrin has owned and run. He describes it as a "light dinner spot" with an elegant setting, a different crowd from the sports bar on the main floor.
"The menu is simple. We want to provide good prices for guests and people that live here." David Lutrin, owner of Lost & Found, speaking to Sky-Hi News
He has kept that promise. Lost & Found makes its pizza dough and sandwich bread in-house, and Sky-Hi reported entrées at $10 to $15. The 4 to 5:30 p.m. happy hour cuts those prices further:
At happy hour, a cheese pizza costs about half the low end of the regular entrée range. The salad people mention most is the Sunshine Salad: romaine, yellow beets, dates, tomato, goat cheese, cashews and a house vinaigrette.
Lutrin told Sky-Hi that he didn't advertise the opening much online, and that word of mouth brought steady business in the first two months. He also said the four-day schedule helped him ease into running the place. That first winter is over now, so Lost & Found goes into this fall with a full ski season behind it.
Both businesses operate on their own. Lutrin said Lost & Found is a separate entity from the Inn and from Granby Ranch, though he noted that foot traffic from the Inn and the ranch often brings the same customers through his door. He expected business to pick up once ski season gets going.
Granby Ranch's own dining options are what set the Inn apart this time of year. The resort's venues are well described online. What's unclear is when they're open in October.
Bluebird Bistro. The resort's dining page describes burgers, brick-fired pizza and pit-smoked barbecue. Its Sunday brunch event page lists 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and gives an end date of September 27, 2026. The resort's October events calendar, however, still shows brunch on October 4 and October 11. Today is Sunday, October 4, and the resort's own pages give two different answers about whether brunch is on.
First Chair Cafe. Granby Ranch describes coffee from a local roaster, espresso, nitro brews, breakfast sandwiches, burritos and pastries. Its venue page lists 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, but that page dates to late 2025 and doesn't confirm a schedule for the 2026–27 season.
The 8350 Lounge. The resort lists après-ski music and drinks on Fridays and Saturdays, 4 to 7 p.m., with a full bar and appetizers from Bluebird. That schedule is tied to ski season.
The Outpost. Last winter's announcement featured signature mac and cheese, including lobster, bacon-cheeseburger, buffalo-chicken and chili-mac versions, along with Bavarian-cream churros and funnel-cake fries. That announcement gave Thursday through Sunday as its days. The current venue page says 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday through Monday. Check for an updated schedule before assuming either set of days for this season.
None of this means the resort's restaurants are closed. The pages simply don't agree, which often happens with resort calendars between seasons. The two spots at the Inn, by contrast, each post one set of hours that hasn't changed with the season.
The Inn's two schedules carry the neighborhood until two dates on Granby Ranch's calendar: opening day on Wednesday, November 25, and a Thanksgiving buffet the next day, November 26. Season passes for 2026–27 are on sale, including weekday and unlimited options. The pass benefits include seven 50%-off buddy tickets, night skiing, Nordic access and a discount on the Indy Pass add-on.
When the lifts start turning, Lutrin expects more visitors at the Inn. Until then, the arrangement is simple. Creekside Tavern is open Monday through Wednesday from 3 p.m., and from Thursday through Sunday you can choose between a game at Creekside and a $6 happy-hour pizza at Lost & Found, under the same roof on US 40.
Having a full week of dinner options a short drive away is part of what makes the quiet months at Granby Ranch easy to live with. If you're weighing a home here and want to know how daily life works between seasons, request a private consultation with Laura Zietz. She knows the neighborhood in October as well as in February.
